“For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.”
What is Worship
True worship begins with internal devotion as you are humbled by who God is and what He has done. True worship involves external declaration that is moved by personal sin, divine holiness, absolute sovereignty, and the undeserving grace of the gospel. True worship will continue and deepen in eternal dedication as all of life proactively becomes the platform for perpetually proclaiming the inexhaustible glory of our all-satisfying God!
At Belcroft Bible Church, we find much joy in offering our musical and technical talents as part of our worship in a way that leads the people of God to sing to God. When done right, as we strive to do, this glorifies Him with the fruit of lips that confess His Name (Heb.13:15), it edifies the gathered Church (Col 3:16), and it has the potential to convict those who do not yet know Christ that God is really among us (1 Cor 14:24-25).
At Belcroft Bible Church we unashamedly embrace the primacy of the preaching of God’s Word. The absolute authority of the Word of God is undeniable, for the Scriptures stand totally without error (Ps 19:7-9), completely infallible (John 10:35), and supremely sufficient (2 Tim 3:16-17) in all that it proclaims and provides (Prov 30:5-6), because the Bible is the very oracle of God (1 Thess 2:13) and the place where He is primarily revealed.
